What's really irritating is when the in-laws think you should be working, too, to help your poor husband. Very few people seem to get the idea that most times it's a shared set of values that allows one parent to work outside the home and the other to stay home with the kid. What's a sacrifice to some people is a lifestyle choice to others.

Out here in snowbound Saskatchewan, our 'real' winter is now being followed by a 'real' spring. Unlike last year when I wore my winter jacket garage sale-ing on the May long weekend. The grass is starting to show, the roads are drying up (remember dirt roads in town) and my hollyhocks, prairie mallows and daisies are starting to green. Yay!! If you want spring, come out here - there's a house across the street for sale ;)

Hey Stacey -

I didn't know you had a blog and I didn't know you went to Florida. Florida was my home for 4 years!!

I noticed you went to Key West, Tim and I love that place - very relaxed, chilled town. Next time you will have to spend more time there

I think as time passes and we grow older, our interests change, too. Up until my early thirties I wrote poetry and couldn't imagine when I would ever 'not' write. I still like to write but it's based more on research and information gathering. Maybe your scrapbooking has reached the point of evolving into something else now too. Maybe the urge you feel to take a creative writing course and expand your photography skills reflects this??
